 Although initially intended for limited deployment in mountain and airborne units, the Kettenkraftrad was equally well suited to use in the deserts of North Africa or the mud of Russia. As a result, nearly 8,000 were produced and also employed by a wider variety of units on all fronts of WWII. The Kettenkraftrad was truly a vital cog in the German military machine. This completely new kit has no parts in common with the ref. 35029 released in 1973. Furthermore, it reproduces the mid-production version, the most widespread.
