RODEN CESSNA-REIMS FTB337G LYNX "WAR IN RHODESIA" - 1980 1:32

The Cessna Skymaster is an American twin-engine push-pull aircraft built in the 1960s. The aircraft was produced by Cessna and also by Reims Aviation. In 1967, the US Air Force ordered 501 O-2A aircraft for air traffic control to assist ground troops in Vietnam. In addition, 31 civilian Cessna 337s were converted to O-2Bs, intended for psychological warfare. For this purpose, they were equipped with loudspeakers and leaflet-dropping devices. The first Super Skymaster produced by Reims Aviation made its first flight on September 1, 1969. 87 unpressurized aircraft were produced in various variants. The company then assembled 23 FT-337Gs, a pressurized variant, and then 61 FTB-337Gs equipped with 250 hp Continental IO-360-D engines, intended for assistance, patrol and rescue missions. The Lynx was an armed military version for the Rhodesian Air Force. (Scale: 1/32)
