DRAGON Tiger I late w Zimmerit - Normandy 1944 1:35 6947

Thanks to propaganda, no German tank commander is better known than Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann.
One of its most famous battles took place on June 13, 1944, in the village of Villers-Bocage, Normandy, just a week after the D-Day landings.
As the British, particularly the 22nd Armoured Brigade, attempted to exploit a gap in the German defences west of Caen, they were ambushed by Tiger I tanks of s.Pz.Abt.101 under Wittmann's command.
In a short but fierce battle, a large number of British tanks and vehicles were destroyed.
It is unknown which tank Wittmann actually used at the Battle of Villers-Bocage, but many believe he commanded a late-production Tiger I with the turret number '212'.
Meanwhile, there are two other options, namely "222" and "231", which are also found on the stickers.
